The Canadian actor named Keanu Reeves is grieving over the loss of his John Wick costar who recently lost his life on Friday, 17th March.
In his statement to Variety, Keanu shared, “We are deeply saddened and heartbroken at the loss of our beloved friend and colleague Lance Reddick. He was the consummate professional and a joy to work with. Our love and prayers are with his wife Stephanie, his children, family, and friends,”
As per the reports, the John wick co-star died because of natural causes.
“We dedicate the film to his loving memory. We will miss him dearly,” Keanu told.
Lance passed away just before the release of his fourth John Wick film, in which he was playing the character of concierge Charon.
On March 24, John Wick is going to be released in the theatres.

As per TMZ reports, “He was found dead at his Studio City home in Los Angeles Friday morning.”
While paying tribute to the late actor in his statement, The creative director of The Wire, David Simon said,
“He was a consummate professional, a devoted collaborator, a lovely soul, and a friend. This is just gutting and way, way, way too soon for any of us who knew and loved him to contemplate.”

The heart-wrenching news of Reddick’s death comes next just one day after he uploaded his happiest photo on Instagram on National Puppy Day in a promotional post that was for Hard Rock Hotels, where the star was smiling with all of his three dogs at his home.
“On screen and off, it’s no surprise I love spoiling my dogs,” his caption read on the post.
Lance was also supposed to attend the premiere of John Wick 4 with his costar Keanu Reeves, however, he did not attend the premiere and did not explain the reason for his absence.
Ian McShane who played the role of Mr Winston in the action thriller said about Reddick’s death, “Total shock and disbelief. Lance was a wonderful human being and a wonderful colleague. My deepest condolences, peace, and love to his wife, Stephanie, and all his family. “
Another Wire actor named Wendell Pierce paid tribute to his long-term pal and costar, Lance Reddick and penned,
“A man of great strength and grace. As talented a musician as he was an actor. The epitome of class. An sudden unexpected sharp painful grief for our artistic family. An unimaginable suffering for his personal family and loved ones. Godspeed my friend. You made your mark here. RIP.”
