Johnny Depp’s Fans Pray For him as he suffers a Painful Injury and Postpones Hollywood Vampires Tour

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor took a break from work after going through a painful injury to his lower body, particularly his ankle.

On Monday, Johnny Depp went to his Instagram to share the saddest news with his fans and also expressed his regret over this situation.

“My dear friends, I am sorry to say that I have fractured my ankle, which is a drag!!! It began as a hairline break but somewhere between Cannes and the Royal Albert Hall, it got worse rather than better. Several medical professionals have strongly suggested I avoid any and all activity for the moment and so am sadly unable to travel at this time,” he wrote.

Depp apologized to his fans as they already bought his concert tickets by saying that the band would definitely do it for them later this summer.

“I’m very sorry to miss you in New Hampshire, Boston, and New York but fear not I promise we will bring our absolute best to the East Coast later this summer and make it up to those who have already paid for the shows!!! Again sincerest apologies. All my love and respect… J. D. x” the actor and performer concluded his post.

An official statement by the band was also released on their Instagram page where they assured all the fans who had purchased the tickets that their tickets will be honored for upcoming dates.

“We are sad to share that the Hollywood Vampires will be rescheduling our three US tour dates this coming week,” they said.

“Johnny has sustained a painful injury to his ankle following his recent appearances and has been advised by his doctor not to travel. He is devastated by this turn of events, but looks forward to resting up so all four Vampires can bring their absolute best to the tour in Europe.”

Following the news, Depp’s fans started sending love and support towards the actor and also wished to see him again in action.

“Sending best wishes for a speedy recovery,  someone wrote.

“Hoping for a speedy recovery, still sad tho,” a second added.

“Oh poor Johnny, sending love,” a third comment read.

“Rest up Johnny. We will be here waiting for you,” a fourth fan added.

“Hope for a good recovery, health first. We can always party and gig later,” someone else said.

After winning the legal battle against his ex-wife, Amber Heard in 2022, Depp rejoined his band again. The ugly legal battle between Heard and Depp ended on June 2, 2022. Their trail was remained for over six weeks and became the most followed Hollywood trial on TV and the internet

Reacting to her 2018 op-ed in the Washington Post, the Beetlejuice actor sued Amber for defaming him. Heard wrote that she was a survivor of domestic violence. Even though the Aquaman star didn’t name and shame Depp explicitly in her statement. But, it was quite clear that it was all about him as they both were married for a year and later broke up.

Depp sued Heard for $50 million claiming that she tried to tarnish his reputation by her statements. He also added that her allegations had affected him badly and people started calling him a ‘wife-beater.’

And no doubt, Depp had to go through a lot as he got removed from the Pirates movie franchise and stopped getting roles for a long time.

Later, Amber countersued Depp for $100 million and said that he defamed her for being ‘honest’ about his toxic behavior and how violent he is in reality.

On June 2, 2022, during the time of the final hearing, the court’s verdict came in favor of the 59-year-old Hollywood star, who enjoyed his win with his friends, singer, Jeff Beck and Sam Fender in Newcastle, England.

The Edward Scissorhands actor announced later that month, that he is going to reunite with his band Hollywood Vampire and would also plan an international tour with them.

Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and Johnny Depp made this band in 2012.

The group shared their tour dates for Germany and Luxembourg via their official Instagram page.

“The Hollywood Vampires are BACK!! We’re coming to Germany and Luxembourg Summer 2023!

“Tickets go on sale Monday June 27 at 11:00am CET. Keep an eye out for more to come.” They wrote.
