Will Smith is upset with the comments Chris Rock made about him.
One of the sources related to the Pursuit of Happiness actor revealed to Entertainment Tonight that Smith has been so hurt by the stand-up comedian, Rock’s jokes in his recent Netflix special episode and the decision of disapproving Netflix’s air that episode.
The source further told that the 54-year-old Smith is feeling so embarrassed about the things Rock said about him and now he only wants Chris to let it go.
Previous week, one year later after being smacked by the King Richard star, Rock finally talked about the infamous ‘Oscar Slap’.
Rock could not stop himself on expressing his feelings,
In his Netflix live-streamed comedy special, ‘Chris Rock: Selective Outrage’, the comedian made some remarks regarding Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
“You know what people say, they say, “words hurt…” anybody who says words hurt has never been punched in the face,” he told.

During the event of the 94th Academy Awards on March 28, 2022, the whole world became the witness of an iconic slap by Will Smith, where Rock initially started joking about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. At first everyone including Smith laughed at his jokes, but after a while Smith left his seat and went on stage to smacked Chris, and then said,
“keep my wife’s name outta your ****ing mouth.”
After the unexpected smacking, people started bashing the 54-year-old actor and many people includes his fellow actors and colleagues criticized him badly for his aggressive reaction.
“You all know what happened to me, getting smacked by Suge Smith,” said Rock. “It still hurts. I got ‘Summertime’ ringing in my ears. But I’m not a victim, baby. You’ll never see me on Oprah or Gayle crying … I took that hit like Pacquiao.”
“A lot of people like, ‘How come you didn’t do nothing back that night?’” he added. “Cause I got parents. Cause I was raised. You know what my parents taught me? Don’t fight in front of white people.”
While blasting the couple, Smith and Jada, the Grown Ups star shared,
“Will Smith practices selective outrage. Everybody know what the f–k happened. Everybody that really knows knows I had nothing to do with that s–t. I didn’t have any entanglements. His wife was f–king her son’s friend.”

Chris further told that he never talks on such matters, but Jada and Pinkett has discussed it already on Jada’s Red Table Talk.
“I have no idea why two talented people would do something that low down. We all been cheated on,” he said. “None of us have ever been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television. Why the f–k would you do that s–t? She hurt him way more than he hurt me, okay?”
He added that when he heard about Jada’s entanglement with August Alsina, he decided to call Smith as he wanted to console him, but he did not receive his calls.
“Everybody in the world called him a bitch. I tried to call the mother–ker and give him my condolences he didn’t pick up for me,” he told. “Everybody called that man a bitch. They called his wife a predator. And who’s he hit? Me, a n—- he knows he can beat. That is some bitch-a– s–t.”
Chris Rock shared that, at the Oscars last year, he did not pick on Jada before he was recalling Oscars 2016, during the #OscarsSoWhite frenzy, when Jada was boycotting the ceremony and asked Chris to not participate in the show.
“Years ago, his wife said I should quit the Oscars. I shouldn’t host ’cause her man didn’t get nominated for Concussion. And then he gives me a f***ing concussion,” he told.
“I did some jokes about her. Who gives a f—? That’s how it is: She starts it, I finish it. That’s what the f— happened. Nobody’s pickin’ on this bitch. She started this s—. Nobody was pickin’ on her.”
