A 29-year-old former Versace model named Jennifer Pamplona, has spent 600,000 dollars to change herself to look like Kim Kardashian and for reverting the entire process she is also spending 120,000 dollars.
From the last twelve years this incredible model has already gone through the forty cosmetic surgeries just to look same as the famous American media personality Kimberly Kardashian. However, she don’t want to look like her now.
Pamplona told with the Caters News Agency that,
“People would call me a Kardashian and it started to get annoying. I had worked and studied and was a businesswoman. I had done all these things and had all these achievements in my personal life, but I was only being recognized because I looked like a Kardashian.”
In the year 2010, the Brazilian-born model went through her first surgery when she was just 17-years-old, at that time Kardashian started to gain fame. New York Times, reported that after getting her first surgery the model felt so happy and then decided to transform herself completely.
“I had worked and studied, and I became a businesswoman; I have launched my own cosmetics company, made investments, and have also done some acting on the side.”
According to Jennifer, she went through almost forty procedures in which rhinoplasties, multiple bottom implants and many fat injections are included.
“If I was to guess, it is over 40. It was an addiction and I got into a cycle of surgery equals fame and money, I just lost control of everything I went through a lot of hard times.” She further said.
“At one point I was just having surgeries to look like a Kardashian, I couldn’t do my own things like acting, as I was just known as a Kardashian lookalike.”
She also shared with the outlet that when she started to look like Kardashian, she received immense fame and also became internationally popular not only this but also, she earned a lot of money because of her resemblance with the reality star.
According to the New York Times, her transformation got her so much fame internationally and in the year 2017, Pamplona was also featured in The Post. After becoming famous on social media, she gained 1 million followers on her Instagram account but all of these things didn’t get her real happiness.
“I discovered that I was addicted to surgery and I wasn’t happy, I was putting filler in my face like I was in the supermarket. It was an addiction and I got into a cycle of surgery equals fame and money, I just lost control of everything. I went through a lot of hard times.”
After having depression for years, she got to know about her illness because of suffering from dysmorphia. Later she decided to return to her previous looks.
After that the model started to look for a surgeon who could help her to get her natural looks and fortunately, she found a doctor from Istanbul who decided to help her.
“I saw on the computer beforehand how I would look and it was like I was having a rebirth.”
She further said, “I had a face and neck lift, buccal fat removal, cat eye surgery, a lip lift, and a nose job all at once. I went into the operation room as one person and I came out as another.”
Pamplona also said that while going through the de-transition surgeries she experienced a lot of pain and at some point, she felt that like going to die from this pain.
“I thought I was dying, I was thinking to myself, ‘What the hell have I done with my life?”
“The best feeling is knowing I’m not in a fight with myself anymore, I am now who I wanted to be and I really now understand the meaning of life.
“There are people who make it [surgery] look good on Instagram but life isn’t perfect, and being addicted to surgery isn’t a good thing.”
Now the 29-year-old Jennifer opened a foundation in Brazil because she decided to help people like her. The experts and doctors will be there to treat the people who are suffering from body dysmorphia.
“I feel like I can help a lot of people with my life story, but my face is beautiful and now I look even more beautiful,” she also said.
