The Finalist of Miss Universe Australia Sienna Weir Passed Away At 23

The painful death of Sydney model.

Miss Universe Australia 2022 finalist named Sienna Weir recently died due to a horse-riding accident after she was taken off life support.

The model had been fighting for her life-on-life support for multiple weeks.

The tragic incident happened on April 2 at Windsor Polo Grounds, where her horse fell on the ground and she got so many injuries. Weir was taken to the Westmead Hospital instantly and then spent several weeks on life support before her passing away on Thursday, May, 4.

The model had a double degree in English literature and psychology from Sydney University.

As per the reports of news.com.au, the beauty pageant was deciding to go to London, UK, in the upcoming years as she wanted to spend quality time with her family and plan to expand her social and professional connections too.

After Sienna’s sudden death, many people started paying tribute to her and messages of condolences started running everywhere, however, many people couldn’t able to accept that the model has died at such a young age.

Weir’s last Instagram post was a mirror selfie that she shared in April.

“Can’t believe she is gone, Rest in Peace,” someone wrote

“Taken from the world far too soon! RIP Sienna,” another one commented.

“Forever an angel,” a third comment read.

“An absolutely gorgeous girl inside and out. Rest easy Sienna,” a social media user said.

“Heaven has gained the most beautiful angel today. I’ll miss everything about you Siena, I love you,” one of her friends penned on social media.

“I’m so lucky to have known you. Thank you for everything,” another one said.

Her managing agency, Scoop posted multiple photos of the model on Instagram along with a message that read, “Forever in our hearts.”

A photographer named Chris Dwyer also paid tribute to the model, who was one of 27 finalists in the Australian Miss Universe contest last year.

“You were one of the kindest souls in the world, you lit up the room, and the world is a lot darker now that you are gone,” Chris wrote. “Hope wherever you are, you’re being the gremlin we all know and love. Miss you so much already.”

The late Miss Weir gave an interview to the Gold Cost Magazine for the first and last time, where she talked about her passion for horse riding, she also revealed that she has been riding horses since she was just 3 years old.

“My family aren’t quite sure where this passion came from, but I’ve been horse riding since I was 3 years old and can’t imagine my life without it,” Sienna shared with the magazine. “I travel to rural Sydney 2-3 times a week to train and compete around New South Wales or broader Australia every other weekend.”
