As per Esquire, one year after shooting the movie, Bullock revealed to the John Wick actor that she never tried or tasted champagne in her entire life.
“Really?” Keanu asked Bullock.
To which she replied casually, “Nope, never had ’em,” without knowing what this sweet guy would do for her after her confession.
After a couple of days, Reeves came to his friend Sandra Bullock’s home on his motorcycle by holding truffles, champagne, and flowers in his hands.
“He said, ‘I just thought you might want to try Champagne and truffles to see what it’s like,’” the Ocean’s 8 star shared with Esquire.
According to the Publication, “Bullock poured some Champagne, and they opened the truffles,”. “Keanu put his hands out, without a word, and Bullock painted his nails black, same as hers.”
The Hope Floats actress also confessed that despite not dating each other, she used to feel if they were dating by chance, she couldn’t get upset with him if the two were ever parted ways.
“Keanu’s a guy who, I feel like, is friends with every woman he’s ever dated. I don’t think there’s anyone who has something horrible to say about him. So maybe we could have survived. I don’t know. But we didn’t have to survive anything,” she said.
“We just get to grow up together on parallel roads and tip our hats and meet for a dinner and try to work together. And the longer time goes on, the more in awe I am of the human being. Would I have been able to say that if he had dumped me and made me angry? Probably not.”
