The Hollywood icon named Robert De Niro revealed that he is now the father of seven kids and one of them was born recently.
While giving an interview to ET Canada, the Godfather star announced the birth of his new child but the name and gender of the baby are yet to be revealed
When ET Canada’s reporter named Brittnee Blair asked Robert how it feels to be a father of six kids, to which he replied, “Seven, actually. I just had a baby.”
De Niro didn’t reveal the name of the mother yet, however, the last romantic relationship he had with his marital art instructor was named Tiffany Chen.
According to the Daily Mail, “They were photographed holding hands in July 2022, and in March of this year she appeared pregnant when leaving Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California,”
“On March 22, Tiffany was seen with what looked like a baby bump as she left Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California, with Robert.
“They had just enjoyed an Italian dinner with Harvey Keitel and Billy Crystal.”
The representative’s of the Casino star confirmed that he has blessed with his seventh child recently but didn’t reveal anything about the baby’s gender and who the mother is.
Earlier this week, Robert spoke with ET Canada, where he shared that he loves his children a lot but according to him, it’s important to be stern with them about multiple things.
“I mean, there’s no way around it with kids. I don’t like to have to lay down the law and stuff like that. But, [sometimes] you just have no choice,” he said to the outlet.
“And any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt but sometimes you can’t.”
De Niro told that he adores his 11-year-old baby girl very much before joking that she gives grief to him sometime.
“I don’t think I’m a cool dad… You know, my kids disagree with me at times, and they’re respectful,” he further added. “My daughter, she’s 11, she gives me grief sometimes, and I argue with her. I adore her, but, you know. And my youngest now, that’ll be more to come. But, that’s what it is.”
The Raging Bull actor tied the knot two times, he got married the first time with his Taxi Driver costar, Diahnne Abbot. In the year 1976, the pair met for the very first time on the set of their film and became the parents of their baby boy Raphael. He also adopted Diahnne’s daughter named Drena which she shares with her previous partner.
De Niro broke up with Abbot in 1988, however, he kept in touch with his adopted baby girl because they two shared a great bond.
The veteran actor started to date model and actress named Toukie Smith in 1995, and the duo also welcomed twin sons, Julian, and Aron together.
After two years, the couple parted ways, and De Niro moved on and got married to Grace Hightower in 1997. The former couple shares two children including a son named Elliot, and a daughter, Helen together. However, after 21 years of being married, they split in 2018.
Robert said to Us Weekly after their breakup in November 2018,
“Grace and I have two beautiful children together,”
“We are entering a period of transition in our relationship, which is a difficult but constructive process. I honor Grace as a wonderful mother and ask for privacy and respect from all as we proceed to develop our roles as partners in parenting.”
