Kim Kardashian and her elder daughter named North West share a joint TikTok account which has been taken down temporarily, between the rumors that the little girl took a break from the internet.
Their account was showing a message for over an hour on Thursday, in which it was written, ‘Couldn’t find this account, ” after this the fans started speculating that maybe the mother and daughter had taken down their account by themselves.
According to the Daily Mail, “An insider close to the reality TV family told TMZ that North, nine, was behind the decision to temporarily scuttle the account, which had 15.5 million followers under the handle @kimandnorth,”.
“North has been more interested in focusing her creativity in other areas lately and is taking a break from TikTok,” the source revealed. “Like most kids, interests change often, so she may be back on as early as tomorrow – or never again.”
Kim and North made an account almost two years ago and now both the mother and daughter regularly share their routines videos, shenanigans, and lifestyle in general.
Despite her father’s disliking her showing herself on social media as she is too young for this world, the nine-year-old girl stays super active on the internet. In 2022, West was making headlines after he bashed his ex-wife, Kim, saying he had an issue with their daughter using social media platforms.
Last year in January, the rapper shared with Hollywood Unlocked, “Tell her don’t have my daughter wearing lipstick on TikTok and don’t have her on TikTok at all if I don’t approve that, and I said it after it was done without me knowing, and it happened again,”
“So I feel like there’s some poking the bear, trying to antagonize me or create this, like, “crazy” narrative. Because to say someone is crazy, they’re trying to take the power away and do anything to get people to not pay attention to me.”
In a response to Kanye’s statement, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said via her Instagram that the rapper was just wanted to control and manipulate her by giving this kind of public statement.
“As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision – because it brings her happiness,” she said.
“Divorce is difficult enough on our children, and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.”
