Some reports revealed that famous American actor and musician Johnny Depp will be coming as a guest at Rihanna’s fourth edition of the Savage X Fenty fashion show.
TMZ reported that without taking to the show’s runaway the Pirates of the Caribbean actor will make a cameo in Volume 4 of the show having his spotlight segment as the first male celebrity on 9th November.
As per Variety, “his brief cameo follows in the vein of other celeb moments, like Cindy Crawford’s appearance in the 2021 Savage X Fenty showcase.
“Other confirmed celebrities for the “Vol. 4” show include Rihanna herself, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” actor Winston Duke, “Abbott Elementary” Emmy winner Sheryl Lee Ralph, Marvel’s “Shang-Chi” star Simu Liu, “Empire” star Taraji P. Henson, Irina Shayk, Marsai Martin and performances by Burna Boy and Anitta.”
According to the reports the 59-year-old Depp filmed his part already and now is very excited about his collab with the Love on the Brain singer.
It has confirmed that Savage X Fenty Vol.4 will be going to premiere this coming Wednesday, 9, November on Amazon Prime.
His surprising appearance comes next after his never-ending legal fight with ex-wife Amber Heard. Aquaman actress Heard accused Depp for abusing her mentally and physically.
After her false allegations, Depp sued Heard because she wrote a defamatory op-ed in the Washington Post, where she claimed that she was domestically abused. The Rum Diary actress didn’t mention the name of Depp in her op-ed but it was quite obvious that she wrote about him.
After her statements, many people bashed him for being a violent husband and they also removed Depp from the Fantastic Beast franchise.
When Depp filed a case against his ex-wife who were trying to defame him, in response, Heard countersued him and named him a manipulative liar. The trial of their bitter legal battle lasted more than five weeks, and finally the verdict of court came in favor of the 59-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actor in June 2022.
After deciding mutually, in Fairfax, Virginia, not all of the seven jury members gave their decision in favor of him but also awarded Depp over $10 million in damages.
The court verdict declared that Amber Heard tried to defame her ex-husband for the domestic abuse as she claimed in her Washington Post op-ed in 2018.
The Aquaman actress was ordered by court to pay $350,000 in damages and also $8 million in compensatory damages. However Heard made a claim that she didn’t have enough funds so she couldn’t pay the total amount.
The Barbadian singer has been receiving a lot of criticism and backlash from many people after the news went viral that she has invited Johnny Depp in her show.
