Plus-Size Model Bashed Horse-Riding Owners for Refusing Her to Ride Horses Due to Her Heavy Weight

A curve model named Remi Bader was turned away from an event for riding a horse because of her weight.

Popular Tiktok star, and Instagram influencer Bader, who is known for her realistic videos and self-image struggles shared that she was invited to one of the events at the Deep Hollow Ranch in Montauk by the owners. However, when she came there, she was mistreated by them because of her weight.

Later, she bashed the ranch owner on the social media platform by saying that it was a very embarrassing moment for her when they refused her to ride their horses because she was overweight.

28-year-old wrote under her video clip which she uploaded on her TikTok account,

“Shoutout to Deep Hollow Ranch in Montauk for making me leave because I weigh over 240.”

She also said, in their advertisement, there was not any type of rules mentioned regarding the weight limit. While revealing that the son of the ranch owner called her a fat b**** on Facebook, she told,

“When you’re not a fat b****, you can ride at Deep Hollow Ranch.”

The ranch owner’s son named Brody Keogh made a duet on Remi’s video and shared the response on his TikTok account. After sometime he deleted that video. However, Remi posted Brody’s video on her TikTok account and wrote,

“Imagine this being Deep Hollow Ranch’s response to your experience.”

“I don’t really need any opinions on this one,” Bader’s comment read. “It’s the fact of how it wasn’t advertised and how poorly it was handled. This was my experience, not yours.”

Later, Brody deleted his video and an apology was also issued on the Facebook page of the ranch business where it was written that they do not condone their employee’s video, which he already deleted.

They wrote in their apology statement, “It has come to our attention that a TikTok video was posted regarding the ranch and a teenage employee posted a response that in no way represents nor is aligned with the views that the owners of the ranch hold. “

“We would like to apologize to anyone who this offended, and we do not condone or agree with any part of that employee’s video.”

The influencer’s video went viral on social media and crossed almost thousands of views. Many people commented on Remi’s video and slammed the ranch business owner and his son for their unprofessional behavior.

In her statement to People Magazine, the influencer told that she didn’t want to take down any small business by bashing them publicly but she did it because it was much needed.

“I posted for a reason, and that’s not because of me being denied to ride the horses. I get it, some places have weight requirements and I’d never want to hurt the horses, but it was the way I was spoken to and laughed at by the owner and the way I was treated overall.”

She further said, “What I experienced in person was only supported later by the owner’s son’s video, who made very clear that they did not want me there because of my weight and that is truly disappointing. In addition, I just want to say that Hampton Water was nothing but super supportive, and felt terrible about the whole thing, and believe me.. You’d know if I didn’t feel that way. They are not at fault,”
