Pink, 43, Said, Her Daughter Willow, 11, Cannot Have Her Mobile Phone Until She Proves ‘Social Media Is Good for You’

Famous American singer, and songwriter named Alecia Beth Moore Hart, who is popularly known as Pink doesn’t allow her 11-year-old daughter to have her mobile until she proves that social media is good for her.

The pop star is best known for her songs including Lady Marmalade, So What, TRUSTFALL, Just Give Me a Reason, What About Us, and Try.

Recently in one of her interviews with KTU 103.5 FM’s Carolina With Gerg T In The Morning Show, where the songwriter shared that her daughter named Willow doesn’t have a cellphone and she is the only one in her class who doesn’t own her personal mobile yet.

“My kids don’t have a phone. My daughter is the only 11-year-old in her class that doesn’t have one. It’s hard. A lot of my friends have their kids on TikTok, and I don’t,” she revealed.

“I told [Willow], point blank, “If you can produce literature from a reputable source that tells me that social media is good for you, then you can be on it. Otherwise, good luck.’”

The songwriter is also the mother to a six-year-old son, Jameson who she shares with her husband named Carey Hart.

Even though, the Just Give Me a Reason singer has almost 9 million followers on Instagram, but, she believe that her daughter is not ready to use social media, especially nowadays, when the world is full of trolls and bullies.

“She has a lot of eyes on her,” Pink also added that because of her celebrity status she doesn’t want her daughter to be exposed on the social media as this time, her mental health is the most important over anything.

She further told that her baby girl Willow’s communication skills are too good and she always has solid arguments.

“She could be a lawyer. She could literally pass the bar. She’s always right… She might actually find that literature, but good luck.”

The Try singer said that Willow always try to convince her by arguing that all of her friends uses their own mobile phones and also has their own TikTok accounts.

Pink said to her, “That doesn’t move my needle, they’re not my kids, you’re my kid.”
