After two years of a bitter divorce, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have officially settled their differences: she receives “$200,000-a-month in child support”, the $4.5 million house he bought next door, and parenting disputes will be resolved through mediation.
Finally after two years of messy battle the former couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce has been finalized.
The proclaimed billionaires reached a new custody settlement, division of their multimillion-dollar real estate portfolio, and parenting plans.
On Tuesday TMZ reported that Kanye West will pay $200,000 in child support every month to the US reality star, Kardashian. It has been decided that the two will share joint custody with equal access over their four children, 9-years-old, North, 6-years-old Saint, 4-years-old Chicago, and 3-years-old Psalm.
This agreement outlines Kanye West’s responsibility for 50 percent of the kids’ educational and safety expenses.
As per outlet, West and Kardashian both have agreed to participate in mediation. If one of them fails to attend the session, the attending parent gets to make the decision on hand.
42-year-old Kim will receive the $200,000, on the first day of every month by wire transfer.
A prenuptial agreement West and Kardashian signed prior to their marriage waived spousal support.
According to TMZ, Kim Kardashian and the rapper West, 45, have finally settled their divorce and West has agreed to transfer the $4.5 million, home to Kim, next door to her Southern California, home.
The SKIMS founder will become the owner of the 3,650-square-foot home which has five bedrooms. The home which West purchased nearly a year ago, hoping of staying close to his children, his new house needs a lot of renovations as it is a tear down.
Furthermore, Kim will keep the $60 million estate in Hidden Hills, California, where she lives with her kids, and will going to retrain her property which she owns in Idaho.
As per pact, the Bound 2 rapper will keep his $60 million Malibu beach home, 300 acres in Calabasas, California, his childhood home in Chicago, property in Belgium, and his two Wyoming ranches.
During the summer, Kim has tried to reach an overall divorce agreement with her ex-husband, West. However, he continually refused and didn’t participate to resolve the matter.
Ultimately, Kanye came around and became a good friend of Kim after seeing her handling things calmly.
To nail down an agreement between the former celebrity couple Kardashian’s lawyer named Laura Wasser played an important role in mediating between both parties, as the outlet reported.
If the former couple had not reached a settlement, not only next month’s trial would have begun but also Kanye West had to give a deposition.
The settlement was announced officially nearly two months after rumors started running around that West was ready to accept it.
