The model wants to have kids ‘so bad’ but is scared to start her family with her husband named Justin Bieber.
The 26-year-old Hailey gave an interview to The Sunday Times recently, published on May 14, where she randomly talked about her plans of starting a family with her pop star husband, Bieber.
“I literally cry about this all the time! I want kids so bad, but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child,” she told.
“We can only do the best we can to raise them. As long as they feel loved and safe,” the model further added.
She has been married to the famous singer Justin Bieber since 2018.
In September 2018, the couple tied the knot in a New York City courthouse and then arranged an elegant and traditional wedding ceremony along with their friends, family, and colleagues in the year 2019, in South Carolina.
Before speaking about her decision to have kids, the model also talked about her health issues and the mini-stroke she had in March 2022.
“The day after I was hospitalized, it was on the internet,” she shared with the outlet. “I wanted to talk about what happened in my own words because so many people were making assumptions.”
“If you let things like that silence you, you’re allowing people to dictate how you live your life. Sometimes I do just want to curl up and be a hermit, like, ‘If this is how people feel maybe I should just stay home.’ But I’m really not that kind of person.”
That was not the first time when Hailey shared her concerns about having children; the previous year, the Rhodes founder and her beloved husband, Justin appeared in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, where they said that marriage itself is a big responsibility and looking after kids is even more bigger responsibility.
“He’s still the person that I wanna be rushing back to,” said Hailey. “I might fly somewhere and go do a job, but I can’t wait to come back and hang out.”
“I feel like that’s because of the effort that’s been put in on both sides,” she continued. “At the end of the day, like, he’s my best friend, but it still does take a lot of work to make it work.”
“And then I know eventually, when kids come in the picture, that’s going to be a whole other season of navigating how to make that work,” she said at the end.
The Grammy-winning Baby singer sat and spoke on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2020, and revealed that his wife, Hailey still has some more things to achieve before becoming the mother of their kids.
“I’d love to have myself a little tribe. But, yeah, it’s her body and whatever she wants to do. … I think she wants to have a few,” Justin told the host, Ellen.
“There’s not really an issue, but I think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman, and I think … she’s just not ready yet. And that’s okay.”
