Baby-Boy Born Holding Mother’s IUD In His One Hand

A woman named Violet Quick who lives in Idaho left in shock when she discovered that she was going to be a mother while taking birth control.

20-year-old Violet and her husband John Francis found out that she was pregnant despite having birth control.

The duo got married in the year 2022 when they were just 19 years old. After marriage they both decided that they will not start a family right away, but, an unexpected thing happened and they became parents of an adorable baby boy named Rudy.

Last week, the young couple uploaded a video of their child on TikTok after becoming parents for the very first time. In the video, an infant can be seen holding his mother’s IUD – intrauterine device in his hand.

The video went viral and crossed 23 million view on the social media platform.

According to the Violet, all the doctors and nurses who delivered him were left amazed as they saw Rudy gripping her IUD in his hand.

“When all the nurses come in to see a baby with his IUD,” she wrote on her video.

The new mom, Violet who has 6000 followers on her TikTok account, shared several videos with their fans, and said that even though she was on a birth control she decided to take a pregnancy test because she had been feeling nauseous for past few days.

In her video she revealed that “So I had my Skyla IUD for nine months before I got pregnant, and the reason that I decided to take a test was because I was feeling nauseous for about two weeks and I would just throw up every once in a while.”

“I didn’t know what was going on and so I took a test and it was positive right away.”

She also shared that at first she didn’t believe that the test result was right and she took another six pregnancy tests.

“They were all positive,” she told. “I actually went to the ER and I was seven weeks pregnant.”

The Idaho resident has advised all the people who follow her on her now-private TikTok account, that even if you are on birth control never ignore pregnancy symptoms and always go for a test.

“I would say if you are having any of those signs of pregnancy or if your period is late to take a test.”

“It’s better to know because there is a high risk of having ectopic pregnancies when you have an IUD, but they work for the most part, someone has to be the .01 percent and that’s me and my baby,” Violet advised her followers.

An IUD (intrauterine device) is a birth control device which helps to prevent pregnancy. It is one of the most effective ways to avoid pregnancy and almost 99 out of 100 women don’t get pregnant and there is only one percent of women can conceive.

In very rare cases
“In very rare cases, you can get pregnant while using an IUD because your IUD has been misplaced. If an IUD slips out of place the risk of falling pregnant increases. You can check the placement of IUD from the comfort of your home or go to your doctor’s office to receive an ultrasound,” quoted Daily Mail.
