The most beloved actor in Hollywood named Brad Pitt once bid $120,000 just to date Emilia Clarke, but the actor was outbid.
The Game of Thrones star was bid on by Brad in January 2018, as he wanted to watch an episode of Game of Thrones with Clarke at a date night.
The bidding happened when the charity gala was going on at Sean Penn’s annual gala for Haiti at Milk Studios in Los Angeles. Brad offered $120,000 during the silent auction because he wanted to get a chance to spend a night with 36-year-old Clarke.
But, the Fight Club actor was outbid when some mystery person kept $160,000 on the table, and this thing made the Mother of Dragons ‘too much sad’.
While talking about her biding experience Clarke recalled an entire event during one of her interviews with Graham Norton on his show and revealed that she was so disappointed at that time when another person ended the auction after outbidding Brad.
“There was an auction for a charity do that I was asked to take part in so I offered time with myself, and as the bidding started I realized Brad Pitt was trying to buy me,” she told.
Firstly, the auction started at $20,000, however, the race was getting escalating more and more because people were so excited to win a chance to spend a night with the actress. Many A-listers of Hollywood including Leonardo DiCaprio, Emilia, Kit Harrington, and Arnold Schwarzenegger attended the event.
At one moment while the auction was going on, the auctioneer screamed and asked, ‘Is the King of the North here?’ right after when Jon Snow came back from the restroom and sat next to Khaleesi.
As per the reports of Variety, “Pitt bid $80,000 to watch an episode of “GOT” with Clarke. Then he outbid himself to $90,000. When Harington came back into the room, the actor offered to also sit in on the episode viewing. And that’s when Pitt raised his own bid to $120,000.”
But, he still didn’t win the bid and lost it to the gala-goer as he put $160,000 on the table to end the auction.
“They called me and were like do you want to auction something off like an experience…like watching the show [GOT] with you,” in May 2018, Clarke shared with Norton on his show named The Graham Norton Show.
The GOT star recalled the event and said that so many celebrities were present there– “It was basically Oscars,” Emilia laughed.
The actress who came up with a plan took her pal with herself who was sitting at the same table as her, she told her to bid on her so that she could not feel embarrassed.
But, as the bid began, Clarke was left shocked after watching the other bidder who was no one but the Bullet Train actor Brad Pitt.
“I was thinking this is mental, and then someone else said, it’s Brad Pitt and then I went lol” she further said.
“And then I look over to the room and Brad has his paddle up.”
“I was like thanks very much, it’s very sweet and then someone else’s paddle went up on the other side of the room,” Emilia added. “…someone else’s paddle went up across the room, and I didn’t really know and suddenly, it was becoming a bit of money a bit of money.”
