Julia Fox Said She Dated Kanye West Just Because She Wanted Him to Stop Bothering Kim Kardashian

The Italian-American actor and model named Julia Fox has revealed the real reason she dated Kanye West and said that it was to distract him from harassing his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

In her recent TikTok video, the 32-year-old movie star admitted that she was not in a serious relationship with the American rapper and that her only motive behind dating him was to help her friend, the SKIMS founder, Kim Kardashian.

While replying to one of the commenters who said that they wished you never dated a misogynist and anti-Semite, the Uncut Gems actress said,

“I was just going to write about it in my book and have y’all buy it, but I’ll just tell you guys for free,” in her reply Julia also revealed that she has been busy working on a memoir which she will going to release soon.

“Like, ‘Maybe I can distract him, like, just get him to like me,’” she further said. “And I knew if anyone can do it, it’s me, because when I set my mind to something, I do it.”

She said that she was a long time fan of Kim and has always had a love for the reality star and her sisters, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian.

“When I had a fashion line 10 years ago, they actually bought our clothes and sold them in their [Dash] stores, so I’ve always had, like, a love for Kim. Like, the big three. Khloé, Kim, Kourtney, those are my girls.”

Julia also revealed that when the rapper and controversial personality, Kanye started texting her she used to ignore his advances because at that time she was not ready to date another celebrity.

“He was texting me. I wasn’t really answering,” while recalling her memoir she said,” I was like, ‘I don’t really want to hook up with a celebrity again.’ Like, nothing ever comes of it. … They’re kinda boring, like, they’re not what you think they’re going to be like.”

“But he kept going. … Then I had this thought,” she said, “I was like, ‘Oh my God, maybe I can get him off of Kim’s case. Maybe I can distract him and just get him to like me.’ And I knew if anyone can do it it’s me, because when I set my mind to something, I do it.”

The movie star further said that when she was dating Flashing lights singer he used to act pretty normal with her and didn’t bother the makeup mogul during their relationship.

“First of all, the man was being normal around me. By the time me and him got together, it was like he hadn’t been doing anything ‘out there’ yet.”

According to Julia, in the first week of their relationship, she noticed that Kanye stopped using his social media accounts including Twitter.

“He didn’t even talk about his relationship. We only talked about clothes and weird ideas and plans for the future and our hopes and dreams for childhood and education — it was really beautiful, guys. The moment he started tweeting, I was out.”

She added, “I had already been like, ‘Dude, I’m not gonna stick around for this s–t.’”

She shared with her 1.3 million followers on TikTok that she wanted to help out Kanye, who legally changed his name to Ye, but after some time she realized that he didn’t want her to help him and nothing could change him.

“I was like, ‘I wanna help him! I wanna help him!’ I sounded almost as dumb as you guys saying that I should have done something to stop him from saying— like, what? But anyway, I was delusional and thought I could help him. Anyway, it didn’t work, and now we’re here.”

When West’s divorce from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian was finalized, he dated Julia Fox for less than two months.

In March, US Weekly reported, “Forming a bond in an unexpected place. Nearly one year after Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West, the musician publicly moved on with Julia Fox,”.

In September, she opened up about her breakup with West in an interview and said that the main reason for their split was his red flags.

“It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have time for it or energy,” she shared with ES.

“The unresolved issues that he was dealing with. It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have time for it, or the energy. I don’t have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. I’m proud of myself for that.”
